About the role

As an Account Executive at Ocula, you will play a key role in driving our sales growth by building strong relationships with prospects and guiding them through the sales process. You’ll work closely with our marketing, product, and customer success teams to identify opportunities, articulate the value of Ocula’s AI-driven solutions, and close deals that make a real impact.

This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role within a SaaS or technology-driven environment. We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to be part of a growing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers through outbound, inbound channels and events building a strong pipeline of opportunities.

  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and consultative sales process.

  • Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and business objectives, tailoring Ocula’s solutions to meet their needs.

  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging and insightful presentations and demos, showcasing how Ocula’s AI-driven insights can drive revenue growth.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM, track progress, and provide regular sales forecasts to leadership.


About you

  • 2-3 years of experience in an Account Executive, Sales, or Business Development role, ideally in SaaS, AI, or eCommerce solutions.

  • Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.

  • Passion for technology, AI, and eCommerce, with a keen interest in how businesses leverage data-driven insights.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and sales methodologies.

  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success.


Additional requirements

  • This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week in the office (London).

  • Occasional travel (20-30%) may be required for customer meetings and industry events.
